More Information:
This is the forth year for the New Forest raptor project. It is also part of the RSPB's "A Date With Nature". Over the last three years, cameras have monitored the entire breeding season of Goshawks, from nest building to fledging. A series of battery powered microwave links transmit the video nearly six miles across the forest to the Reptile Centre near Lyndhurst. The project is funded by the Forestry Commission, New Forest National Park Authority, RSPB and Carnyx Wild.
